I spent the day Saturday reading a novel (Come Hell or Highball). It felt a little bit like an American themed ripoff of the Her Royal Spyness mysteries, but I enjoy them, so it was a good way to spend a lazy Saturday. I didn't end up watching the debates last night. I just didn't think I could stomach watching The Donald bluster and scowl and point for 90 minutes. Thankfully I have a couple of friends on Facebook who watched it and posted all the good bits. Friday I got up and ran through the test connection for the online software (Blue Jeans) that they use for interviews. Yep, I got laid off today.

But I also got offered six weeks of severance pay. Which is way more than I expected (I didn’t get any severance when I got laid off from L’Office.
